Convenient and easy mobile payments are now possible with the Mobile Payments app from RegioBank. Simply download the app, hold your phone against the payment terminal, and you’re done!

Who can use it?
You can use Mobile Payments if you have: a checking account with RegioBank + a device with Android 5.0 or higher with NFC capability + RegioBank's Mobile Banking app.

How it works
Mobile payments with your phone operate similarly to contactless payments with your debit card. By using the NFC chip in your phone, you make contact with the payment terminal in the store to complete your transaction. Before you can make a payment, follow these steps:

• Download Mobile Payments.
• Log in using your pin code from the Mobile Banking app.
• Select an account for mobile payments.
• Create a 4-digit code for each account you add. Then select whether you want to use your fingerprint as well.
• Agree to the terms and conditions.
• Sign to activate Mobile Payments.

No extra costs
Downloading and using the Mobile Payments app is free of charge.

Safety
Mobile Payments are secure since the app does not function remotely, and payment only occurs once you activate your screen. If your phone is locked in your pocket, there's no need to worry about fraud. Moreover, you can choose whether to enter a code for transactions under €50 or not. If your phone is lost or stolen, remove any accounts linked to Mobile Payments in My RegioBank or on another device where you use the Mobile Banking app to prevent unauthorized use.

Important information: You can only make payments within Europe using the Mobile Payments app.
